If you like a friendly yoga class, where you get to chat to the teacher and other students, or just quietly work on your own mat without being crowded out, then my classes will suit you. I like to know the names of all my students and I develop the content of the classes to suit the group.
I often use unconventional, and hopefully non-intimidating, venues – like the local pub, social club or community hall – and have equipment I can lend you so you don’t have to worry about having a full yoga kit bag.
I can work with you if you have a specific need – be that a health issue, a part of the body you want to work on or a mental block. And I know how hard it is to go to a yoga class for the first time so I won’t judge you if you look at me blankly because you’ve never heard of a Downward Dog. Or if you get your left and rights mixed up (I do that all the time!).
I actively discourage competition and encourage fun in my classes. We are all using our precious time to be there so let’s enjoy it and know that when we leave we are better people for it.
I don’t do free first classes, or voucher deals, but I do reward loyalty. I know that the yoga I teach will help you best if you commit to coming to classes regularly so I try to make that as affordable as possible for you.
