About Dru and me

‘at its most simple, Dru Yoga helps relieve the pressures of modern living’

What is Dru Yoga?

Dru Yoga is a beautiful flowing form of yoga that will help you to relax, unwind and stretch out your body. It can help revive tired muscles, reduce back pain and combat stress. Dru Yoga gives the mind and body much needed rest and relaxation, to help you find a still point in a busy world.

My classes are suitable for all abilities and the therapeutic nature of Dru Yoga means that they are also good for those who might otherwise feel unable to attend yoga classes. They are ideal for beginners and no prior knowledge or experience of yoga is required.

Dru Yoga classes are centred around the practice of Energy Block Release sequences, traditional yoga postures and sequences, along with lively activations and deep relaxation.

About me

I live and work in London, but I completed my Dru Yoga training whilst living in Yorkshire, moving to London at the start of 2012. I have completed a 200-hour fully certified Dru Yoga Teacher Training course, have undertaken a post-graduate module in Dru Yoga for Back Care and am a certified first aider. I am also a support tutor on the Dru London Teacher Training course, regularly volunteering with Dru to expand my knowledge and experience.

I came to teaching yoga because I have personally found it to be the best cure for the challenges life throws at me. My classes are fun and friendly and I often teach in unusual urban venues, bringing yoga to the heart of local communities.

Dru Yoga has given me so much; from greatly improved physical health to mental and emotional wellbeing. I love teaching Dru and being able to pass on the benefits I get from it.

I teach yoga, and run Lucyoga, alongside my career in the creative and digital industries. I am trained as an artist (Glasgow School of Art) and have worked in various roles related to contemporary and historical art since 2000. I now specialise in editing and producing digital content and social media for the arts and other yoga teachers, and continue to develop and exhibit my own art work.
