Do you feel stuck? Stuck in winter? Stuck in negative feelings or bad habits? Stuck in a body that’s tired and grumpy?

Then this workshop is for you! We’ll be exploring yoga to release us from winter and shoot us into spring. To help us recognise, accept and then move on from negative feelings and bad habits. And make sure that you feel more comfortable in your body and breath.

Join me for a mini-retreat in London this March. Come for one afternoon, or both and get un-stuck!

“I really enjoyed it. I found it very relaxing and grounding. A really lovely way to spend an afternoon and get some calm, peace and strength back.” – Lauren Ha

Lucyoga’s Yoga for Change workshops explore how to practically use yoga to help you make change. Whether that change is within yourself, your immediate environment, or on a much wider scale related to political and social events. We will work specifically with how to deal with challenging and heightened emotions.

This workshop focuses on different aspects related to how you can keep yourself healthy and well at times of great change. We will also look at how to let go of negative feelings which can hinder our ability to change, and learn how to progress forward in challenging circumstances.

More about my Workshops

What is Dru Yoga?

Dru Yoga is a beautiful slow and flowing form of yoga that will help you to relax, unwind and stretch out your body. It can help revive tired muscles, reduce back pain and combat stress. Dru Yoga gives the mind and body much needed rest and relaxation, to help you find a still point in your busy world.

“It was very relaxing and really loosened my hip joints!” – Liam McCull

What to expect

These workshops will bring together physical movements and asana (yoga postures) with more subtle yoga techniques like mudras (hand gestures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation.

“Lucy’s classes never cease to amaze me. She puts such thought and care into the meaning of her teachings and what students will get from them. I always come away feeling more grounded and more inspired.” – Kelly Thompson

Dru It Yourself: Self-Care Workshops in London 25 & 26 November 2017Physical movements and yoga help us to become aware of ourselves, to let go of stress and anxiety, to become more mindful. And to allow the body to relax more deeply.

Intertwined with the asana we will try out mudras and pranayama which can help bring moments of peace and calm when you need them most – in the middle of your day and in challenging situations.

We’ll then take an extended relaxation, helped by the movement and stretching we’ve just done, and supported by bolsters and blankets so you can be as comfortable as possible.

“I’m too blissed out to say anything terribly meaningful except that it was really lovely” – Lydia

Throughout the workshops there will be a particular emphasis on how we can look after ourselves, even when it feels like there is no time or space to do so.

“Good mix of dynamic movement and relaxation and meditations. Nice pace and warm, supportive teacher” – Jess Haddon
