Lucy and Stu are heading back down to London for a very special afternoon yoga workshop at Victor’s Lab in Peckham. Taking place on Halloween the theme for this afternoon Dru Yoga workshop will be how to find your inner light and sunshine, ready for the winter ahead.
Lucy and Stu will lead a two-hour session nicely paced for all levels, easing out stiff and tired muscles through movement and breathing techniques, practicing yoga postures and sequences specifically chosen for bringing in more light during the darker months of the year. The session will conclude with the simple meditation practice of Tratak, or candle gazing, which helps to stimulate the eyes to absorb as much light as possible, great for when light is in short supply outside.
This will be a rejuvenating and relaxing yoga session, suitable for all, but especially beneficial to anyone who finds winter difficult and would like to learn how to tackle feelings of lethargy and tiredness in the winter months.
The venue is a beautiful light-filled studio in the heart of Peckham, with easy access via Overground, National Rail and many buses.
All equipment provided. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing, preferably layers, as we will be working through both active and relaxing yoga sequences.
