Dru It Yourself is a private Facebook community that I’ve set up to help support your yoga practice and self-care, inspired by Audre Lorde’s quote. My mission to spread the self-care bug!
On here I share my Dru It Yourself videos, blogs and other activities to help inspire and guide you for a self-care yoga practice that helps you feel better in yourself. Occasionally you will find me doing some ‘Live’ videos. And this will be the place I try out doing some online classes too.
Self-care helps you feel better in yourself. And that allows you to be a more effective activist for social kindness, cohesion and conscience.
I know how hard it is to prioritise this. I have just spent the last couple of years trying to get my head (and body) round being a mum and running my own business. Because of this I also know why it is so important to make sure that your greatest asset, YOU, is well looked after!
If we want to make a difference to this world, we need to be OK in our selves. To care for those we love, we need to be OK in our selves. Seeking happiness? You need to be OK in your self.
So come along to the group to share your thoughts, questions and inspirations for self-care. Whether it is Dru Yoga or other things that you know nurture your body and soul.
And bring your friends along too. I want this community to grow and expand so that we can all learn and share with each other. We can inspire and motivate each other to put our self-care at the top of that to-do list!
